I got my new Desktop in with a CD to install stuff for the Motherboard. Yet I ordered the PC without a DVD slot. So how can I get my drives updated without a disk?

You have two choices.  Either search for the files you need on the web, or buy an external DVD.

you can always go to the manufacturer's website and download bios updates and driver that you need.

I've been having problems with NVMe on this motherboard since I bought it. It would be fine for up to a day, and then simply fail. Since the computer couldn't write logs, it was difficult tracking down the reason. In Linux, it appeared very similar to this:  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1705748" rel="nofollow - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1705748

It has only been a couple of days, but it appears that the 1.40 motherboard update has completely fixed the issue! It was also relatively easy to install.

So while it's a bit unfortunate that these "special release" motherboards don't get full support from the original manufacturer, thank you CyberPower team for pushing out fixes as they are available. Hug

Hey,
Just did this.  Save the file to your desk top (you have to extract the file) then save it onto a memory stick.  Restart your system and press F2 to enter the boot up system.  The third/fourth tab over (advanced??) has an option to "Flash".  The icon is of a smart stick that say bios on it.  Click it, as long as your memory stick is still plugged into the usb port it should show you the file, then click ok and let it do its thing.  Once finished click the button on the screen and the system will reboot.  Remove the memory stick from the usb port.

Is there a specific USB port required to get the instant flash to work like there is on other mother boards? Just asking since it keeps telling me there is an issue detecting the bios update from my usb(formatted properly).

Anyone know how to install asrock rgb polychrome software? If I follow manual and install App/Store it doesn't recognize any updates.
