Hello guys, I ordered a pc on here on Thursday being a complete noob to pc. I believe I can still make changes to my order for a few days after ordering? I'm going to be honest I had no idea what I was doing when I was ordering it. Any help to make improvements would be appreciated. I would like to stay under 1400 and yes i used a 5% off code. | You may want to upgrade to 16GB of RAM. Currently, you have 8GB but many of the PC games coming out are recommending you have a minimum of 16GB. If would be worth the upgrade :) |

I ended up making a different build and changed it to 16GB. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would never suggest having only a single fan on a 120mm sealed cooler. Especially with an AMD cpu. They run hotter than Intel. Now consider your overclocking creating more heat. I would go with a 240mm sealed cooler, or one of the large air based cooler any time you overclock. A sealed 120mm cooler with a single fan is not a lot better than a standard cooler. Once the water heats up so doe everything else. Moving more air across the radiator helps quite a bit. If your shipping it, I would go with the ultra care packing option. It will help protect your system from UPS. Just look up some videos about their delivery. If being shipped, I would also consider the extended warranty. It gets you a full year of free shipping instead of 30 days, in case you have any issues. Never let CP overclock. They tend to just ramp up the voltage. Put that cash into the "tuning plan". This gets you a one time free cpu replacement should you fry it. Most all MOBO's have software included to do a moderate OC without having to get into the BIOS. ------------- Remember valor, honor, independence, family & clan; I do whenever I hear the ceol mor, the "great music" of the Highland bagpipe.
