Bought 2 Gamer Supreme desktops for my boys for Christmas.  Setting them up last night and I am not able to get one of them to activate Windows.  Tried every trick I can think of and no dice.  Opened a ticket and now posting here.  Does support listen on the forums or is my only recourse to call the support number?

my windows was activated before I got it so definitely call the number at the top of the page. 1-800-707-0393

they don't look at forums anymore best way is to reply back to emails you got about the problem or call like Redi said
Heed most of the advise you get from forums! Do your research and make educated decision!

I am having this EXACT issue.  I bought a PC on Wednesday and now it is Friday.  Windows will not activate.  I sent a request in Wednesday and still have not heard back.  This is so frustrating!!!

call the help line at the top right corner 1-800-707-0393 during office hours and remember they are in California.

Same issue on PC, purchased 1/2/2021. I submitted a request, but sitting on hold on the phone now too. You would think if they have this issue so much, which by quick google search it is pretty common, they would fix the problem before sending them out.

Ok, calling them now.  Really wish they wouldn't have that "for faster service, go online" message.  If my answers were online I wouldn't be calling.

Were you able to get in contact with them? I do not have unlimited time to sit on hold on the phone, and no one is responding to my email support requests.

There's software that can read it from where its embedded on your system, but there are virus laden versions of them. Even a good one can be see by Windows as a hacking tool. Only use one if you got it from a reputable site like Major Geeks. Use it, write down the serial number, then delete the tool.
