I purchased a GUA1600BST from Best Buy earlier today and have finished the basic setup that I want to do on the existing hard drive; however I also bought a second hard drive specifically to install into this machine. I have run into a problem in that I do not know how to get to the HDD enclosure cage. I can open up both sides of the case (the only information I can find about the case type is "Model C Series") but the glass side does not extend all the way down into the area where the hard drive enclosure is. I am guessing that I would have to do something with the front panel in order to insert and secure the new drive. However I did not find any information on how to actually DO this in the box nor have I been able to successfully search the web for a manual or indeed any information.

I am looking forward to using this machine to its fullest but I cannot do so until I install this additional drive. Any help would be appreciated.

The membership never suggest getting an off the shelf system. Wish you had checked in before you pulled the trigger.

We have no idea what case you have, you need to list it.

How does the original drive set in? through the front, side, rear?

If the link I found for the model from Best Buy is the one. >>>> http:// then it looks like the Phanteks Eclipse P300 ATX Mini-tower.

If this is the one, here is the link where you can get the manual. >>> A simple 5 minute visual search turned this up.

P.S. If you have the "standard" PSU get it out of your system. They have a high failure rate and have been known to fry systems.

Remember valor, honor, independence, family & clan; I do whenever I hear the ceol mor, the "great music" of the Highland bagpipe. I swear upon the holy iron of my dirk that I will not forget.
