Hey everyone! I could use a little help here. I've just got a second monitor for my rig and am looking forward to being able to stream while paying attention to chat and monitoring other options on the second display.  My issue is that I can't seem to get my system to detect the second monitor at all.  I am fairly inexperienced with pc's and such, but I have tried going directly to the nvidia control panel to get it set up, and it won't detect, even when I try to force the detection.  I'm not sure what is going wrong right now.

My graphics card is the gtx950 (which I was assured is able to do dual monitor displays)
I am running windows ten OS.
the current connections I am using for the monitors are an HDMI cable for my main display, and the blue cable that comes with the monitor for the secondary display.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you know if the cable is HDMI, DVI, or VGA? I wont be much help with this, but It may be a cable issue. If there is an HDMI port on your second monitor, try plugging it into that to make sure it is either; a port or a cable malfunction. Also if there are multiple ports that you can plug your monitor in, try that.

Always good to post our full build specs.

Maybe simple, but are you connecting the second monitor to the GPU or MOBO. It needs to be connected directly to the GPU
