Bought my PC and ram is capable of running at 2800. Out of the box the ram is running at 2133. Running i5 6600k cpu, evo 212 cpu cooler, msi z170 pro gaming carbon, 2x8gb adata 2800, gtx 1070 gpu, and corsair cx650m psu. Is it safe to enable XMP for my ram? No planning on overclocking cpu anytime soon. Will I even see a big difference? System is running all games perfect with no problems and on ultra. Is it even worth it? Thanks

Yes, it's safe, and given your post I doubt you would even see a difference.

Didn't know you have to turn on XMP to enable the clock setting for the DRAM I have in my system.  Now that I did when I restart it gives an error?  Should I even try enabling it?

I have a I5 -6600k, 16 GB ADATA XPG  Z1, 1060 3GB.
