So bought a CyberpowerPC Extreme VR and it is crashing during game play. Sometimes it just crashes the game and other times it reboots. I noticed that the Graphics Card and Audio are sharing the same IRQ. Could that be why? I could not figure out how to separate them.
I have until Jan 31 to send this back if I cannot get it resolved.
IOWs, If I do not hear something from Tech support that fixes this I will initiate a return through Amazon.

TY,

James

IRQ is a pretty old term, and this is not really an issue any more.

Can you be more specific about what you mean about "crashing"?  Are you getting blue screens, or is the game itself crashing?

You need to check memory with memtest, video card with furmark, and then check temp with prime95.... I would download HWMonitor to see what the temps are.

To figure it out, you need to know what is wrong, first.  It could be the software, and not the hardware....

Good luck,

I ran MemTestPro and it is showing a lot of errors. So do I send back the computer or what?

Another thing I noticed is the fans on the graphics card are not spinning.
Is that normal? Are thet temp activated?

Hey Jmartin! Yes, you will need to fill out an RMA on our support page to have them replaced. Also, the graphics card is heat activated so when it pushed or stress to cool the card off. When it is not spinning your pc is fine and running at the right temperature.

Well, I took out the memory and placed just 1 8GB stick in A2 slot, and tested it. Tested good. Did same with other stick, tested good also. Put both back in a2 and b2 slot and got multiple errors. I am thinking a motherboard issue.
Anyway, I am sending it back to Amazon. I only had till Jan 31st and figured better to just get a new one rather than try to fix a brand new computer that keeps crashing during game play. If I had more time I would have worked with tech support to try to resolve this problem.
