So, my MB says it has

5 System fan connections
1 connection for processor fan + Rad.

coincidentally it has 5 areas to mount fans (2-6)  and the rear 1 where the rad is currently (1)

I ordered 5 fans, and with the radiator. What would be optimal.

This is the 6 places that are open to air and have mounting holes. Also just incase ordered a stand for a fan incase i need to stand one up inside instead of mounting on the case wall.

5 and 6 intake, 1,2,3, and 4 outflow if you want to make it simple and not mess with much.  Keep an eye on how the blades of the fans are placed to determine which way air is flowing.

However....

Don't really like the radiator being in the back because then it's pulling hot air rising from the graphics card through the radiator.  I'd stick it up top at 4 as an intake(along with 5 and 6) , and make 1, 2, and 3 outflow

No, I would say at least one intake. If your doing heavy overclocking or running all AMD components, more fans will be needed. We all know AMD runs hotter than anything Intel has.

Basic rules of convection here. Intake air pulled in low, hot air pulled out the top.

120mm sealed coolers are usually mounted in the back like this, 240mm at the top. As long as running push-pull on the 120mm cooler I don't believe your going to have any issues (my system is set up like that, no issues). Especially if you mount intake fans along the side.

Added update.

Just finished. Added push to rad, 2 exhaust on top and 2 intake on side.
