Customer Reviews and Ratings on CyberPowerPC products - Gaming PC Winter 2019
Good: - The assembly is very neat - No bloatware - No software or hardware problems Bad: - I received the wrong game code - It was unclear to me that my PC was already registered with CyberPowerPC so I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out how to register it - Some component docs were included but it would have been nice to receive all
Good machine, came fully intact and operational.
I have worked in IT for over 35 years, owned a small IT Business since 1992 and have always built my own custom branded PC's. This is my first personal custom system purchased from online vendor CyberpowerPC. I purchased from Cyberpower for several reasons. Reviews were consistent with quality components at the best price. Purchased the Holiday special for less money than I could have purchased the components, not to mention my personal time to build the system and test it if I chose that route. No brainer there. The online ordering system is the best I've ever experienced at outlining all component purchase options in detail. The system arrived well packed and secured, although I did opt for the Ultra Enhanced Packaging solution, which I would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a new system. With video card weights like bricks and now liquid cooling being a better choice than air, you want to ensure no shifting of internals during transit. I only have a few minor cons to note, one is that I didn't realize that the Eluna case, which is a prefect Mid size, doesn't contain a DVD Drive bay, which being an old school IT guy, I have many DVD's of family photos and videos. I'm sure its my fault for not looking closely at the case specs, but it wasn't obvious on the ordering screen. Of course I also have a mechanical 2TB drive that I'm unable to mount in the case, again probably should have investigated case specs in detail. The case is really only setup to mount NVMe and SSD's. My bigger gripe is that being a system builder I know that ASUS includes 2 SATA drive cables in the MB box, which were not included. The ASUS Prime Z390-P board performs flawlessly, however only 3 of the 4 SATA ports are now usable due to my choosing an NVMe drive, which disables one of the four SATA ports. I would have upgraded the MB if I had known this was a limitation and wish it would have been noted on the form. I now will have to purchase an expansion card to accommodate my 4 SATA drives. The whole idea behind buying from Cyberpower was to immediately plug and play without any headaches. One other recommendation I would make is to let consumers know that delivery requires a signature. Having bought several laptops for clients in the past from HP and Lenovo, I should have remembered this, if it was obvious I would have shipped my CyberpowerPC system to my work address to avoid the hassle of arranging work time off to be home for a signature. I tried to change the ship to after ordering with my assigned rep Bobby W., but he explained that once the order is received Paypal rules prohibited any shipping address change. Bobby was very responsive when I had questions, responding the same day. I placed my order on 12/21, which listed an estimated ship date of 1/14, which came and went without any update on the My Orders page of my account. Bobby responded right away to let me know that the system would be shipped out within 2 days, which it was. Overall the system is well worth the price if you are looking for the best components and configuration options from a quality vendor. I would recommend them in the future.
This is my first cyberpower pc purchase and I absolutely love my new system it is beautiful and runs perfectly. The shipping time was slower than I would have liked but understandable due to the holiday season in which I purchased the system. Hands down best gaming computer I have ever had.
Small thing, but the cyber power logo etched on the case had frayed plastic at the edges. Smoothing that down would improve the high end feel of the computer
