WB Montreal Teases New Batman Game

New Batman Game Teaser Played In A Gaming PC.

Batman: Arkham Origins developer WB Montreal is rumored to be working on a new Batman video game slated for a 2020 release. The rumors started when the video game company posted a video celebrating Batman Day, which featured a series of cryptic images.

The video is a 30-second clip that shows a white building being illuminated by the Bat-signal. Four different images then flashed every few seconds. Each of these images bears symbols of figures and organizations found in the Batman lore. One of the most notable is the sign of Ra’s al Ghul, Gotham terrorist and Batman’s long-time enemy.

Batman comics writer Scott Snyder also re-tweeted WB Montreal’s tweet with a caption that said, “Wait for it… #bewarethecourtofowls.” After a few hours, the tweet was then deleted. This further signifies the fact that WB Montreal is indeed developing a new game, which might feature Snyder’s new arc timeline.

And this doesn’t end there, because during the last week of September, WB Montreal released a clear image of one of the symbols that were teased in their previous video post. The image was posted on WB Montreal’s official Instagram account, and was captioned with “Capture the Knight / Cape sur la nuit.”

However, WB Montreal posted a different version. It was a video that shows the symbol morphing between three different symbols.

WB Montreal hasn’t released an official statement about the new game yet. Their last Batman game was the third installment of the Batman: Arkham series titled Batman: Arkham Origins which was released in 2013 for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
