What better way to start 2019 other than knowing the latest games set to be released this month of January! And yes, we’ve got you covered. For two days straight, we’re going to introduce you ten of the best games to be released this January 2019.

Let’s start with first five:

Pikuniku

January 7

Pikuniku is an out-of-this-world puzzle exploration game, which takes you to a strange but playful world. Published by Devolver Digital, this indie action-puzzle game tasks its player to help strange characters overcome their struggles while trying to uncover a deep state conspiracy. It will also introduce you to a fun revolution in its adorable little, dystopian world.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Tales of Vesperia is a Japanese RPG video game from Namco Tales Studio, which was first released in 2008 for Xbox 360 and in 2009 for PlayStation 3. Due to its popularity, the game will be internationally released in January 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows gaming PC under the subtitle Definitive Edition. The game will feature a new version of the series trademark action-based Linear Motion Battle System.

Onimusha: Warlords

Onimusha: Warlords was first released in Japan for PlayStation 2 in 2001. The game introduces us to a samurai named Samanosuke Akechi from the Sengoku period, who fights against the forces of Nobunaga Oda. A remastered version of the game is set to be released on January 15 for XBox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles, as well as for Microsoft Windows via Steam.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season (Episode 3 – Broken Toys)

The third episode of the The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Broken Toys will be the continuation of Done Running and Suffer The Children. Following the closure of Telltale Games, Skybound hired as many original Telltale staff to work for the Final Season and finish Clementine’s story. The work resumed late in November 2018, and Skybound announced to be releasing two more episodes for Season 4, “Broken Toys” and “Take Us Back.”

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG is an upcoming RPG indie video game from Ackk Studios. It features a colorful 3D Japanese-style RPG and is set in the 1990s. The game will introduce the player to eight characters, who will work together to investigate the mystery surrounding the viral video star, Sammy Pack, that went missing in a supernatural event. The game will include battles and puzzles for players to solve. According to its developer, YIIK will approximately have 25 hours of gameplay.
