Fighting fans rejoice! Fresh off the press is today’s announcement by SNK Corporation that their 3 vs. 3 competitive fighting game, The King of Fighters XIV, will soon be offered in a new version with additional bells and whistles!
The King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition launches digitally January 7th in Europe, January 20th in North America, and in Spring 2021 physically, for the PlayStation 4. The game will be set at a retail price of $39.99 USD/€39.99 EUR.
It should also be noted that the PC version has an Ultimate Pack DLC, which includes the DLC characters and costumes, along with a digital artbook and soundtrack.
The King of Fighters XIV originally launched in 2016 on Windows PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4. As stated in the official press release, The King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition will feature all 8 DLC characters (for a grand total of 58 characters), ten DLC costumes, and 10 PlayStation 4 home themes.
