The next game in the Dark Pictures anthology and sequel to the Man of Medan has finally been announced. The game, which is titled Little Hope, was revealed in a teaser trailer after the Man of Medan credits. It’s scheduled to be released in 2020 for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The teaser trailer features Will Poulter as Andrew and appears to be set in a creepy old town called Little Hope. In it, we get a few glimpses of what players may encounter. This includes a small girl holding a scary doll dancing around the fire, and Andrew’s friend Angela who seems to be in trouble. However, the trailer offers a little indication as to what the plot of the game is about.
Little Hope will be different from Man of Medan, and will not take after the events of the first title. The Dark Pictures is an anthology series that presents each game as a standalone experience rather than a sequel to the previous one. This means that the two games will have no connection to each other, but there may be little hints or Easter eggs that players can see in it.

Little Hope will be the second title in The Dark Pictures Anthology Series. Each title in the series can be played as a single player or as a co-op multiplayer with up to four players.
Man of Medan is the first in eight planned installments of The Dark Pictures Anthology Series. It features a supernatural horror story on board a ghost shift sailing in the South Pacific Ocean.
The Dark Pictures Anthology Series is developed by Supermassive Games, the same creators of Until Dawn, and is published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
