Rockstar Studios has finally released Red Dead Redemption 2 on gaming PC via Steam. The game has been available on Steam since December 5.

Red Dead Redemption 2 first announced the PC release of the game on Twitter two weeks ago. The game has been available on gaming PC since November 5, but only through the Epic Game Store, Google Stadia, and Rockstar’s own PC game launcher.

Rockstar previously announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 would come to Steam in December this year but didn’t exactly gave a date when.

Since the game has been on PC for quite some time now, it’s modding community has been growing. And creative players have been releasing new content, which includes zombie mods, tiny NPCs, and playable robots.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version quite received a shaky launch due to various bugs. But now the issues have been cleared up, which means that the Steam version is better than the previous release.

The game is the entry in the series and is a prequel to the 2010 games. It focuses on the story of John Marston, a fellow gang member who is also the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.
