Owlcat Games has set a release date for its upcoming game, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The game now has an official release date set for September 2, 2020. According to Owlcat Games, the game will be launched for gaming PC via Steam and GoG.

For those who are curious about the title, Owlcat has already released a second beta for the game, which features the first four chapters on Steam and for those who contributed to the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Kickstarter campaign. The game is also available for players under certain tiers of Slacker Backers.

The second beta of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous features all of the content from the first beta alongside new features. These new features include the Crusade gameplay, wherein players take the role of a Crusade commander and lead an army through strategic army management and tactical turn-based combat. There will also be new side quests, abilities, dinosaur pets, and mounts for players to try. The beta will also introduce archetypes for certain classes so players can explore. It also has a weather system and includes the game’s final UI design.

A set of balance fixes were also implemented in the game’s core difficulty. And some fans have also talked about an enchanted weapon called the Finnean, which were given to players who have helped Owlcat reach their Kickstarter goal.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous was first announced by the developers in 2019, and this game follows the story of Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The game may be set within the same Pathfinder universe, but this doesn’t serve as the Kingmaker’s sequel.

In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, players can embark on a journey to a world filled with demons. Make your path and explore the nature of good and evil. Put an end to the conflict between the humans and the demons. Set a crusade that will change the world forever.
