Honkai: Star Rail Second Closed Beta is Now Open

Honkai Star Rail Second Closed Beta

HoYoverse announces that the second closed beta for Honkai: Star Rail has started. It is an upcoming 3D tactical RPG game from miHoYo, the developer of Genshin Impact. It will be released on gaming PC, iOS, and Android mobile devices.

Honkai: Star Rail closed beta will also be available for players to play on their gaming PC or iOS and Android mobile devices.

The game is the latest and the fourth installment of the Honkai series. The game will introduce a standalone story with brand new characters and a few alternate versions of the characters in Honkai Impact.

Honkai: Star Rail Gameplay

In Honkai: Star Rail, the player must ride a colossal train, the Astral Express, to travel through different worlds. Each world will have its set of challenges and surprises. In this world, players will be able to meet new companions as they journey.

However, the game will have a different feel than the previous Honkai Games. It also features a turn-based combat mechanic, which is similar to the Persona games. But of course, it will also feature a hack-and-slash gameplay style, which the Honkai franchise is known for.

Another similar feature Honkai: Star Rail has from another miHoYo game, Genshin Impact, is that it will have an open-world map. For Genshin Impact players, the game has been praised for its open-world map, so fans are excited about what Honkai: Star Rail will bring into the series.

With the game’s new strategic turn-based combat system, Honkai Star: Rail aims to bring new players into the franchise. Another goal is to provide a fresh experience for pre-existing franchise fans. The game’s closed beta registration is available at Honkai: Star Rail’s website.

Second Closed Beta

The second closed beta will have limited participants as it can only grant a limited number of Trailblazers access. Any game account progress will be deleted after the beta.

Because the game is still in development, the content the participants may experience in the beta test may not make it to the final video game.
