Genshin Impact released the Sumeru official trailer for its next update. It will add the Sumeru region to the map, a place that worships the God of Wisdom called the Lesser God Kusanali. The update will also introduce the new element in the game, “Dendro.”
The new update is known as Version 3.0, titled “The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings.” Here’s the Sumeru official trailer below:
New Region
Sumeru is under the guidance of the Lesser Lord Kusanali, the God of Wisdom. Unlike the other regions, which rely heavily on Mora, knowledge is considered the most valuable resource in Sumeru. This is made possible through the region’s own Akasha System, which was left by the previous Dendro Archon.
People and visitors in Sumeru use Akasha Terminals to connect to the system. In the Akasha, all of the Sumeru’s information and knowledge is stored.
New Element
Dendro is a new element that will be introduced in the game. The nation of Sumeru itself incorporates Dendro in their daily lives. With the introduction of Dendro, there will be new Elemental Reactions in the game: Burning, Bloom, and Catalyze.
New Characters
New characters from the region of Sumeru will also be introduced in the game:
- Alhaitham
- Collei
- Cyno
- Dori
- Dehya
- Nahida
- Nilou
- Tighnari
Version 3.0 will introduce Tighnari, Collei, and Dori as playable characters.
Tighnari will be a 5-star Dendro bow-user. He is a Forest Watcher in the Avidya Forest.
There is also Collei, a character that was first introduced in the universe of Genshin Impact through their official comics. She is a Dendro bow-user playable character who works as a trainee ranger under Tighnari.
Last but not least, Dori is an Electro claymore playable character. She is considered to be the most “resourceful” merchant in Sumeru. Through her connection and knowledge, she can get anything her customers want.
