Forza Horizon 6 is the latest in a long running open world racing game series. The sixth entry takes the driving festival to Japan. Longtime series fans had been requesting Japan for years, and this map delivers. Featuring the series’ largest open world to date, with Tokyo City being 5X the size than any previous city in the Horizon series – a labyrinthine sprawl of downtown streets, docklands, suburban backroads, and elevated expressways that blurs the line between a racing game and a driving vacation.
Forza Horizon 6 spans the entire breadth of a fictionalized Japan. You’ll race through misty mountain passes in Tohoku and to the rural lowlands of Kyushu, over to scenic coastal roads with views of the iconic Mt. Fuji. All of this is complimented by dynamic weather, seasonal changes, and an overhauled sound system that changes how engine sounds react to their environments, whether you are driving through tunnels, open roads, or steep canyons. Each region carries its own visual identity, weather patterns, and road character. A killer soundtrack, the largest in series history, gives you nine radio stations with a mix of Japanese artists and international names.
Forza Horizon 6 is a technical showcase on PC. Ray-traced reflections and global illumination are active in live gameplay for the first time in the series. This was something you could only use in the previous game’s photo mode. Support for uncapped frame rates, native ultrawide resolutions, your chose of upscaling with: DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3 and FSR 4, Intel XeSS 2.1, full racing wheel support, and cross-save across all platforms. A built in benchmark mode is included with the game for testing out performance on your selected graphics settings.

Forza Horizon 6 launched to some super strong. On Metacritic, its sitting at a 92 based on over 65 critic reviews . Putting it as one of the highest rated games of the year.
On Steam, the game peaked at over 178,000 concurrent users during Early Access — more than double Forza Horizon 5’s all-time Steam peak of 81,096 — before its full launch on May 19 (today).
