Epic Games has finally confirmed the release date for Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2. It is scheduled to launch on February 20, 2020.
Aside from that, the Fortnite Team hasn’t yet revealed anything about the new season. But the team did give an update on Fortnite version 11.50, which will move the game to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics engine. The update was made to ensure that the game will feel like Fortnite. However, the team also admitted that there will still be bumps along the way.
As part of the update, Epic decided to start the process with a small group of players. From there, the developers will closely monitor feedback and make improvements over time.
Fortnite Chapter 2 will close the beginning of the newest chapter for Fortnite. It already started with Fortnite’s collaboration with Star Wars, which even features an unexpected tie-in to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Fortnite is an online video game from Epic Games, which was released in 2017 for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. It was later on released for mobile devices, including Android smartphones and iOS devices.
