CD Projekt Red finally released Patch 1.1 for their latest sci-fi RPG game, Cyberpunk 2077, on gaming pc. The patch is also available on Google Stadia and consoles, including PS4 and Xbox One.

The developers explained the big update focuses on the game’s stability improvements. It is also stated in the Twitter post that the update will lay the groundwork for the upcoming patches. Another important part of this patch is memory usage improvements in various systems within the game.

The patch will primarily improve the game’s characters, navigation, in-game videos, interactions, laser effects, minimap, devices, foliage, GPU-related game features, environmental damage system, and more. The update will also bring various crash fixes to Cyberpunk 2077’s opening, closing, loading saves, and Point of No Return.

Fixes were also added for the game’s Quests and the Open World, as well as for its User Interface, Visual Achievements, and PC/console-specific features. Below are few details about Cyberpunk 2077’s fixes for gaming PC:

PC-specific Fixes:

  • It will now be possible for the player to obtain achievements in Steam, even in Offline mode. However, the offline mode needs to be enabled before the game starts. This change does not work retroactively.
  • Fixes the issue wherein the game startup crashes related to the loading cache on NVIDIA graphics cards.

Other miscellaneous fixes included in the update are:

  • Fixes the issue responsible for saves getting oversized.
  • Trims the excess size from already existing saves. However, this update won’t be able to fix PC save files corrupted before the 1.06 update.
  • Fixes an issue wherein input could stop registering upon the player opening the weapon wheel and performing an action.
  • Fixes an issue wherein the Continue button in the Main Menu could load an end game save.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released last December 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game will also be released for Xbox One Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
