CD Projekt Red confirmed that the extended gameplay demo of Cyberpunk 2077, shown behind closed doors during E3 2019, will be available to the public at the PAX West 2019.

The news came from CD Projekt Red global community lead Marcin Momot in a Twitter post. According to the post, the extended gameplay demo won’t be made public until after Gamescom 2019. This is because the studio plans to show it during PAX West 2019.

PAX West will happen from August 30 to September 2 and is set to take place in Seattle, Washington.

The demo is a 50-minute video, heavily focusing on the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077. It features the same mission shown through two different perspectives: the first one is from the perspective of the male version of the protagonist named V as a net runner. The other version is pure action featuring the female version of V. Johnny Silverhand, Keanu Reeves’ character in the game, is also in the demo and sort of acts as a ghost-like companion for the protagonist.

This gameplay demo was already shown behind closed doors at E3 2019. It was a hands-off demo and is likely to remain that way.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming sci-fi action RPG game from CD Projekt Red. It will be launched for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 16, 2020.
