Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a horror-survival game, which was heralded as a return to the franchise’s survival horror roots. It is the first game in the Resident Evil franchise that uses a first-person perspective. It introduces us to a new character named Ethan Winters, who has no connection to previous characters from the Resident Evil franchise. He also happens to be a civilian with little combat skills, bringing the players to a whole new level of horror-survival experience.

The game follows the story of Ethan as he searches for his missing wife in a derelict plantation owned by the Baker family. Little does he know that the Baker family has become something sinister. To survive, he must solve puzzles, fight enemies, save his wife Mia, and defeat the ultimate evil that hides behind a disguise.

Since its release, the title has won numerous awards. These included Best VR Game from Golden Joystick Awards 2017 and The Game Awards 2017, the Coney Island Dreamland Award for Best Virtual Reality Game from New York Game Awards 2018, and the VR Game of the Year from SXSW Gaming Awards to name a few.

If you haven’t tried the game yet, you can buy and download Resident Evil: Biohazard on Steam for Microsoft Windows PCs and gaming laptops, XBox One, and PlayStation 4.
