MGSSV Reports Data Corruption Issues

Konami has released reports of save files being corrupted in the Metal Gear Solid V. The trigger for the corruption is incident specific and Konami has come out publicly to report on the matter at hand.

On the official Konami website, the blog post reads:

β€œIn “METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN” which was released on September 1st, 2015 there is a possibility that the game stops progress if having Quiet as a buddy while playing “Mission 29” or “Mission 42”. This situation can be avoided by not using Quiet as a buddy while playing either “Mission 29” or “Mission 42”.”

The issue has been reported on all platforms, including Steam for PC, and no other information as to whether or not Konami will be releasing fixes to the issue has been announced. They did mention, however, that more announcements will be coming soon, indicating a fix is in the works.
