Google Stadia Launches with 12 Games

Google is now going to shake up the video game industry as it launched its cloud-based streaming platform, Google Stadia, last week.

The list of Google Stadia launch games features 12 games in total. It includes the entire modern Tomb Raider trilogy, Destiny 2: The Collection, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Here’s the full list of the  launch games below:

  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Destiny 2
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • Samurai Showdown
  • Just Dance 2020
  • Gylt
  • Kine
  • Thumper

According to news, Destiny 2: Collection will be the first game offered through Stadia Pro. This subscription will give players 4K resolution, gameplay at 60fps, 5.1 surround sound, and HDR support. The Stadia Pro costs $ 9.99 per month.

Before the year ends, players will also be able to buy the following games which are included in the Google Stadia 2019 list of games:

  • Borderlands 3
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Ghost Recon Breakpoint
  • Metro Exodus
  • NBA 2K20
  • Rage 2
  • Trials Rising
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
  • Wolfstein: Youngblood
  • Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
  • Darksiders Genesis
  • Farming Simulator 19
  • Football Manager 2020
  • GRID

Google Stadia’s early launch last week was only available for users who bought Stadia Founder’s Edition or Stadia Premiere Edition. The official Google Stadia base launch is still scheduled for a 2020 release.

Users can stream Stadia to their TVs with Chromecast, gaming PC running Google Chrome, and on Google 3 and 3a phones.
