This is my second Tracer, I previously owned a Tracer 2 that finally failed after 4.5 years. On first use, the Tracer V is sleek, with an excellent build quality. My one main criticism of the Tracer 2 was that it was a jet engine. The fans were SO LOUD. The CyberpowerPC website rarely has any information about the sound levels of the systems, and I would pay generously for quiet products. Luckily, on first use, the more advanced Tracer V seems whisper quiet as compared to the Tracer 2. My one major problem with the Tracer V has nothing to do with CyberPower's constant great work, the problem is entirely my own fault. My major mistake with the system: Was choosing Windows 11 over Windows 10. Some issues are minor, some are major - and I hope all will improve over time as the OS improves. But if there's any one thing I would redo if I could, I would have chosen the previous Windows version. It's a decision that I deeply regret.

The laptop I've purchased is exactly how I wanted it to be; the speed and gaming capabilities are fantastic. The 500GB SSD also makes bootup times almost unnoticeable. The only thing I wish were different is the screen itself; I wish it were capable of 4k display, but I understand that that would just cost extra. The laptop itself is a beast, so if you are purchasing this for primarily school or work and plan to take it on the go, make sure you're ready to carry it around. Also, the battery life when running at performance mode is just above one hour; given what the computer can do that makes sense, but I wish it had a battery life of at least 2 hours. The fist game I tried to run was Warhammer 3 via Xbox GamePass; when set to Ultra graphics settings and the computer set to performance, the game has moments where it sputters but the framerate comfortably sits above 30 or 40 fps. Overall, a great gaming PC as long as it stays plugged in!

Good laptop. Excellent upgrade. My only critique is that the battery does not last as long as I would like. This also may be due to some of my setting that need to be adjusted for use.
