Top 5 PC Games Femme Fatales

The femme fatale is one of the great archetypes in American cinema history. Translated from French, the term quite literally means “deadly woman.” These sexy temptresses bewitch men and lure them into dangerous, often lethal, situations. But these women don’t only exist in films. They exist in video games as well. Despite the fact that these women are out to destroy all men, we can’t help but fall in love with them ourselves. So here are our top 5 PC games femme fatales.

Ada Wong is the mysterious long-legged femme-fatale of the Resident Evil franchise. She is generally portrayed as cold and calculating but tends to soften when her mission comes into conflict with Leon S. Kennedy. Ada’s past life before 1998 is a complete mystery. Her ethnicity and nationality are left unconfirmed. In addition, no information as to when and where she was born has been given.

A trained cunning spy, Ada possesses great intelligence and is a highly trained assassin. She is immensely skilled in hand-to-hand combat and various weapons including handguns, sniper rifles and knives.

In the series, no one really knows what side she is on.

Lara Croft is as hot as ever on her latest reboot. She’s an English archeologist in search of lost relics. Lara is a great scholar who doesn’t really care much for her aristocratic background.

Lara is exceedingly beautiful, having a slender physique and well proportioned body. Her finesse and acrobatics are pristine. She is also resourceful and possesses a vast knowledge of history and culture, which helps her a lot in her adventures.

For LoL gamers who indulged themselves playing on their gaming laptops and PCs all night long, mastering each champions and working hard on their series, I’m sure you’ve encountered the usual AP MID champion, Ahri.

Ahri was once a fox who always dreamt of becoming a human. Her goal seemed forever out of reach, until she happened upon the wake of a human battle. She felt drawn to one: a robed man encircled by a waning field of magic. She approached him and something deep inside of her triggered. His life essence poured into her, carrying invisible strands of magic. The sensation was intoxicating and overwhelming. Before she knew it, she had changed: her sleek white fur had receded and her body was long and lithe, the shape of the humans who lay scattered around her.

What really makes her a femme fatale in the game is her 3rd skill, the Charm. Ahri blows a kiss in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit and briefly charming them. It is one of the most devastating stuns in the game to be hit with, for it forces a champion not just to be stunned but to walk forward out of safety or cover as well.

Ranking at the 2nd spot is Sylvanas Windrunner, also known as the Dark Lady, the Queen of the Forsaken. She is the former Ranger-General of Silvermoon who was murdered by the death knight Arthas and brought back as a creature of undeath. She rebelled against the Lich King and the Scourge, becoming the founder of the Forsaken faction of undead who allied with the Horde. Since then, she has proclaimed herself the Dark Lady, Queen of the Forsaken.

Sylvanas is a military genius. She has a certain mastery of leadership, military strategy, and a bow. She is also adept at demon magic – having the ability to drain life, create skeletons, and use mind control. Sylvanas is the best archer on Azeroth and claims that she could hit a flying bird in the eye. With her bow, she would let no man rule her.

1. Catwoman from Batman: Arkham City and Arkham Knight

And the first spot of this list goes to Selina Kyle more popularly known by her alias Catwoman. Growing up as an orphan, she took to thievery to survive, but was determined to do it in her own style. She learned martial arts and trained extensively to perfect her own skills at cat burglary. Her criminal activities are often tempered by a reluctant altruism, making her an inconstant villain and occasional heroine. She regularly eludes capture by the Dark Knight, and maintains a complicated, adversarial relationship with Batman that frequently turns flirtatious and occasionally romantic. Over the years, the both of them developed to become increasingly reliable allies. (Sources: https://batman.wikia.com/wiki/Catwoman)

What makes her our top femme fatale PC game character? Being a high-profile burglar, Catwoman is skilled in espionage, so she is able to keep herself from being known. She is often displayed as the embodiment of attraction and a pinnacle of dominating superiority, specifically over men. She isn’t afraid to make suggestive comments and frequently flirts with Batman on numerous occasions.

Another great thing about her is that her character stands between the boundaries of an occasional hero and rare villain. Given her appellation as an anti-hero, Catwoman only plays the role of a hero whenever necessary and doesn’t show much of a villainous ego. With her beauty and moves, Catwoman can be both Batman’s beauty and beast.
