Marvel’s Avengers is one of the most awaited games of 2020. According to its developers, it takes place in an era where heroes are outlawed after the Avengers were blamed for a tragedy that happened in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The game was designed with single-player and multiplayer game modes. The single-player mode gives players the chance to further explore the unique backstory of their chosen Avenger. Players are also given single-player missions also known as “hero missions,” which are designed to deliver the majority of the game’s overall narrative. Even though the player controls a single character, he can still interact with other heroes throughout the game.
Players should also take note of the importance of choosing gears for your character. Some of these gears allow players to unlock and access areas on the map.
Aside from hero missions, players will also encounter war missions which they can play as a single-player or with up to four other players in online co-op. Both the hero missions and war missions will advance the overall narrative. As of this writing, no further details were mentioned about the co-op and matchmaking system of the game.
Marvel’s Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 15, 2020, for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia consoles.
