Most people think that indie games suck, primarily because they were made without any support from a video game publisher. However, unknown to many, there are a lot of indie games in the market that has become successful over the years including Minecraft, World of Goo, and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Perhaps one of the most hyped games of the year, No Man’s Sky is a space exploration game with no endings and limit. The game has no goals or missions to complete; it is a free world where you can do anything you want from exploration, trading, and discovery. The only thing you need to do is to survive in its infinite procedurally generated universe.

The game is developed by British-based video game developer, Hello Games Ltd.

Stardew Valley

To survive and live, you have to turn the overgrown field into a lively farm. Learn how to farm, mine, combat, and fish. Make friends with the local community and restore Stardew Valley back to greatness.

RimWorld

The RimWorld is a sci-fi colony sim game driven by an intelligent AI storyteller. It is inspired the game Dwarf Fortress, the TV series, Firefly, and the Frank Herbert’s novel, the Dune. The game challenges the player to create a colony by starting with three shipwreck survivors. You have to manage everything about your colonists, including their moods, illness, wounds, and needs while trying to make your colony into a haven.
