Two heroes have joined Heroes of the Storm: Hanzo from Overwatch and Alexstrasza from World of Warcraft. Both characters have already made their debut on the show floor during the BlizzCon 2017.
In Heroes of the Storm, Hanzo is a ranged assassin scout, while Alexstrasza will be a dealing damage ranged support. Along their announcement was a new cinematic which shows the two characters fighting and showing off their powers.

HANZO – THE MASTER ASSASSIN
Heroic Abilities
Dragonstrike – Hanzo summons a pair of Spirit Dragons which travels forward, dealing damage to enemy Heroes in its area.
Dragon Arrow – Hanzo fires a missile which travels across the battleground. It explodes upon hitting an Enemy hero, dealing damage to all nearby enemies and stunning them for 0.5 seconds. The damage and stun duration increases if the arrow travels longer.
Primary Abilities
Storm Bow – Hanzo activates to charge an arrow that deals damage to the first enemy it hits. Its range increases the longer it is channeled.
Scatter Arrow – Hanzo fires an arrow which deals with the first enemy it hits. Upon colliding with a terrain or structure, it splits into 5 arrows that travels an extra distance, dealing damage to the first enemy it hits.
Sonic Arrow – Hanzo fires an arrow which grants vision in a large area for 8 seconds. Enemies inside the area will be revealed for 1 second. If the arrow lands on an enemy, it deals damage and follows them as they move.
Hero Trait
Natural Agility – Hanzo targets terrain or structure to jump to the other side of it.
ALEXSTRASZA- THE LIFE-BINDER
Heroic Abilities
Life-Binder – Alexstrasza binds her life force with an allied Hero. After 2 seconds, the Hero with a lower percentage of Health will be set to the same Health percentage as the other Hero.
Cleansing Flame – After 1.25 seconds, Alexstrasza flies off to the sky and drops 5 fireballs over 6 seconds. After 2 seconds, she lands at the position of the mouse cursor.
Primary Abilities
Gift of Life – Alexstrasza sacrifices 15% of her current health, healing an ally for 150% of that amount. Her Dragon Queen hero trait cooldown will then be significantly reduced and will not cost Health.
Abundance – Alexstrasza plants a seed of healing that blooms after 3 seconds, healing nearby allied heroes for 20% of their maximum health.
Flame Buffet – Alexstrasza launches a fireball, burning enemies hit and damages them for over 5.5 seconds. Hitting enemies that are already Burning will deal additional damage, slows them, and refunds the mana cost.
Hero Trait
Dragon Queen – After 1.25 seconds, Alexstrasza transforms into a dragon and gains 500 health. While Dragon Queen is active, all of her abilities are empowered, and her Basic Attacks will deal 143 damage and will heal allied Heroes in an arc in front of her. Duration of incoming stuns, slows, roots, and blinds are also reduced by 50%. Alexstrasza’s dragon form lasts for 15 seconds.

Aside from these two heroes, Blizzard also announced the players can expect an update next year which includes a new performance-based matchmaking, a new camera, voice chat, better stealth and battleground mechanics.
