It’s confirmed! Devil May Cry V will officially release the free Bloody Palace survival mode on April 1 as revealed by Capcom.

The Bloody Palace mode has been a staple of the DMC series since its second game. It is a timed survival game, where the player is given a single life and face waves of monsters and terrifying bosses against a timer. In DMC V, players can choose to play as Dante, Nero, or V, the newest character to be introduced in the series. The player must strive to survive and achieve the highest level of stylish combat possible.

Capcom confirmed that the Bloody Palace Mode is the last piece of the planned DLC for Devil May Cry V.

Devil May Cry V is the fifth installment in the Devil May Cry series, which was released for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One on March 8, 2019.

The game takes place after the events of Devil May Cry 4, following the story of Dante and Nero alongside a new protagonist named V in their attempt to stop a new threat, the demon Urizen.

Devil May Cry V features a gameplay similar to the previous installments, which focuses on fast-paced, stylish action. It runs in RE Engine, the same game engine that was used in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, allowing it to feature a photo-realistic gaming style.

A week after its release, Devil May Cry V has sold more than 3 million game copies on Steam alone. It is also the second largest PC launch game after Monster Hunter: World as confirmed by Capcom.
