World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Release Date

WoW Shadowlands

Blizzard announces that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released on November 23, 2020, with its pre-launch event starting last November 10.

After announcing the expansion’s delay last month, Blizzard explained that the developers used the time to further polish Shadowlands and shore up the game. This includes overhauling the combat system and rewards in the Maw. The team also reworked the Covenant systems to make the player’s choice more immediately impactful and deliver clearer long-term goals.

The pre-launch in-game event for Shadowlands has already started last November 10. It features the Flood of the Scourge. Then on December 8, players will see the arrival of expansion’s first raid called Castle Nathria. This raid features 10 bosses and puts players in the middle of Sire Denathrius lair in Revendreth. This raid comes along with the start of Shadowlands Season 1.

Shadowlands is the eight expansion of Blizzard’s MMORPG, World of Warcraft. It will transport the players to the realm of the nine afterlives where all mortal souls go to find a new purpose. This is also where hundreds of mortal souls suffer eternal torment at the mercy of the Jailer, who stays in the Tower of the Damned.

In Shadowlands, the players can look forward to an exciting adventure to discover their Warcraft legends’ fates. Players can also forge a bond with the four Covenants, who rule over Shadowlands disparate domains and face a threat shrouded in darkness to destroy the cosmos.

The expansion will feature five major zones, which include Ardenweald, Bastion, Maldraxxus, Maw, and Revendreth. It will also have four new dungeons for leveling and a new raid. In addition to that, there will be a new roguelike endless dungeon called Torghast, which will be introduced for solo and group play.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released for Microsoft Windows gaming PC and Macintosh devices.
