Prepare to get kicked right in the childhood: Resident Evil 2 has a remake being confirmed.
In a video featuring Yoshiaki Hirabyashi, producer at the R&D Division 1 has stated that “we haven’t been able to make it happen…until now!”
Resident Evil 2 originally came out on early-gen consoles such as the Nintendo64 and the first PlayStation back in 1998. As expected of most remakes, enhanced graphics and gameplay should be featured in the upcoming update and Hirabyashi has made a point to listen to all fans and their point of views to produce the best remake they know how. As of right now, no release date has been announced as it is still in development, but Capcom is certain to bring us details as soon as they can.
