As we all know, Capcom Cup is coming up this December, and in eSports that means extremely soon! The time can fly by with a flurry of events week after week and before you know it, December is already upon us and it’s time to fight the best of the best!
The Capcom Cup is the final tournament of the Capcom Pro Tour and features the top 16 players based on cumulative point totals from the previous events in the tour. Players earn points in the tournaments that make up the Capcom Pro Tour based on their placing at those events and the weight placed on each event. Some events are weighted more heavily than others, so winning a premiere event earns more points than winning a smaller event.
I myself am competing for a spot at Capcom Cup by attending as many events possible to obtain points. I have attended a total of 3 events so far, earning a total of 178 points by winning one event, placing 4th and placing 5th. That would leave me at 7th place in the standings currently for a spot in Capcom Cup.
My plan is to perform my best at each and every event and once December arrives I would hope to secure my spot for the main event! I feel that being able to earn Capcom Cup points adds that much more excitement to each and every event!

Three of my EG brothers are in the top 8 standings for Capcom Cup. This means that nearly all of EG at this point in time has earned a spot for the event! It would truly mean a great deal to me if all 4 of us can compete in this event together. I feel our Street Fighter team is extremely strong as a whole and we help each other through every single match and help calm one another down. Not to mention all of us being together at the Capcom Cup would make it that much easier and take the edge off. The more EG, the more chances we have to win as a team! If one of us were to win, that just means we all win!
