Batman: Arkham Knight’s Release Trailer Leaves More Questions

One more day…just one more day until the grand finale of the Arkham Series makes it debut.

We already know that this upcoming game presents a legendary cast of familiar super-villains, featuring, but not limited to, Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn. We already know that this upcoming game brings in the Batmobile to unlock the potential of high speed chases on the invigorating roads of Gotham City. We already know that this upcoming game unites the forces of Batman, Catwoman, Nightwing and Oracle for the ultimate Bat-Family extravaganza.

With all this information, we know that this game is going to leave its mark as epic conclusion to the Arkham series. Except, there’s so many things we don’t know.

The game’s marketing campaign has done an excellent job keeping a shroud of mystery around the new villain, the Arkham Knight. Making a final appearance the day before the game hits stores,  the Arkham Knight shows its face one last time in the developer’s official release trailer.

Though the community is confident in Rocksteady Studios to produce an exceptional game, the trailer only presents more questions surrounding the game. With multiple characters appearing in the same fights, the question begs whether or not the game will incorporate a co-op mode for the post-game or side-missions.

Additionally, it remains unclear which Robin Rocksteady has chosen for the game. Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne are all individuals who have carried the Robin mantle in the comic books. Seeing how Tim Drake made an appearance in Arkham City, it’s probable that either he or Damian, Batman’s son by blood, will embody the Robin we saw in the trailer (since this timeline takes place after all the other Arkham games).

And of course, we cannot forget the ultimate question: Who is the Arkham Knight? Rocksteady revealed that the Joker will be making a cameo appearance in the game, almost completely ruling him out as the man playing the Arkham Knight, but at this point, anything is up for grabs.

So many questions to be answered and lucky for the fans, all will be answered soon. Arkham Knight will be released on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows tomorrow, June 22nd. For more information and more answers, keep up with cpgaming.gg.
