3GB version of what?
the GTX 680 is a 2GB card so it would be a 4GB card if it had a higher ram version the 7850 and 7870 are both also 2GB so they would also be 4GB the 7950 and 7970 are both 3GB cards aready so they will go to 6GB if they have a high ram version (i dont think they will thow since 3GB is already more then is needed for most gamers)

They are seriously getting ridiculous with these screen sizes. Other than a Super Bowl party or similar at your local VFW or American Legion post why would you need a 7' TV screen?

I ordered my new system with the GTX680. The Free Batman game is not being allowed with that as it should.
I e-mailed my sales agent and hope he adds it. The system is probably not set up to include the Batman game yet with the 680, so Benefit of the Doubt applies. Or is there anything else I need to do to get the free game? FREE Game Coupon Batman: Arkham City [+0] To get FREE Batman: Arkham City PC game. You must purchase NVIDIA GTX 560 or Above. |

Man! They just had to do it. The day my AMD 7970 is shipped the 680 hits. Meh. Oh well. It's not like I would even notice any difference. So, I'll just delude myself by saying that I'm an "AMD man". I like the color red anyways and the card in my old laptop is probably Nvidia Beta prototype #1 from when they first opened shop. So, the 7970 is much more than I need anyway. It is interesting to see the whole Nvidia/AMD "battle royal". If only I could have them both... Or maybe these two brawlers will lower the pricing.
Bumped on Gomtuu: Hint, Hint too. 680 giveaway would be cool. |
