I have the GA-78LMT-USB3 and it's asking me to plug in an ambulance Ethernet cord and I'm wondering if there is a way to connect through wireless internet .

That motherboard you mentioned doesn't have any on-board WIFI incompatibilities so as is only an ethernet cable will allow it to connect to the internet.
However, you can use a Wireless Network card or a  USB WIFI adapter to allow you connect to a WIFI signal.

I had to go to settings for network and internet and click on network reset. it should restart your laptop and you should have your wifi networks available again. I was tripping out, but that is how I fixed mine. hope this helps someone!
