Hi, I have a CyberPower Desktop that I got from bestbuy with 1 and only 8 gb stick. I was wondering what ram stick I need to get for it to be compatible with my device.

Another post without asking questions.

First take a look and see if you have the "standard" PSU. If so get it out of your system. These are JUNK, will provide uneven power (ripples) which at least is hard on every component long term. They have a high failure rate and have fried systems. If you have one, get it out and go with a Thermaltake, XFX, EVGA, Coolmaster or Corsair.

Here is a link to Crucial. Go there and allow it to scan you system. Once scanned it will let you know what RAM is compatible. Copy & paste the link. >>>> 

Before you add any additional RAM run Memtest to verify the RAM you have does not have any errors. Then again after you add the additional RAM. Link here. >>>>
To use it you will need to create a bootable flash drive or CD. You can google that also.
