So here is my PC I purchased from CP about a month ago. Everything is going great, I no longer have the USB issue I did at first, updates must have fixed it. I decided to post some pics here as Rock requested:P

And Yea 40* C is a little hot for idle, gaming im at around 45* C but I also live in PHX Az, with temps daily upwards of 100*F so Im not surprised. Also the chipping of the paint I blame both on CP and myself, they for one clearly used cheap spray paint cause when I removed the front of the case to pop a extra 80mm fan in all the paint around the edges of the fan controller flaked off. : / Not a big deal really, I have some nice plastics paint but still.

Also for the record I have a mini-desk thingy that I use so I sit about 4 feet back, not right up there where the mouse and keyboard are in the pics.

Hi

Nice rig, enjoy.  Temps in the 40s are not high actually they are low so your cooling is doing well.

I moved from Mesa to Washington state in July a little over two years ago.  We loaded the truck in 115 degree heat.  When we arrived in Washington (Blaine) it was 82 degrees and everyone was complaining about the heat wave LOL.  We miss the valley, but it is nice to not have your eyeballs melt when you check your mail.

Best of luck on your new system and hello to beautiful Arizona.

Alan

Looks good man, I'm happy everything is working out for you :D.

I really like that case btw, the pictures on the configurations don't do the case justice.

Quick question anyone know why no matter what my fan speed says 0 on my fan controller? I can turn it off and on and such but the speed always says 0, Ive reset it several times as I have to from time to time (common problem with these Ive read) I don't really care much at all but it does kinda interest me. Any ideas?

Yeah,,, it's not wired up correctly. I decided to re-wire all of the cables and wires in my case as the "professional wiring" job that CP did sucked... I'm a little anal that way.

Anyway,,, I found that the temp monitor was wired wrong. I re-did the wiring and it works now and actually controls more that just one fan as well. Also, that temp monitor is cheap. The dial to control the fan speeds only turns my fans on and off.
Bass players do it deeper!!!
