I have a Gigabyte Z370XP SLI motherboard in my CyberPower system which has apparently two M.2 storage connectors listed as being:

1.    type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2P_32G)
2.    type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2Q_32G)

I have one ADATA SX7000NP drive installed.  I plan on installing a second SSD drive.  What model should I install?

Hard to give just a simple answer. Mainly this deals with interface options for the port/connector.

Thanks GAN, a very interesting article but is seemed to be outdated.  I then looked more closely at it and found that it was written six years ago!!

Yep, an older article, still relevant for basic info.
