I just bought a desktop from you and was charged 9.5% sales tax when the tax for my town is 8.25%.

Here is the website by the state of California showing what the tax rate is here so you don't just take my word for it:

https://www.boe.ca.gov/app/rates.aspx

Since this is basically your first post.

I suggest you consider posting your full build specs. We see to often customers ordering junk PSU's with high failure rates, that are know to have fried systems, miss the checkout code for 5% off, miss using a cheaper build base.

It seems you are not aware of how sales tax works. It is not where you live, it is collected in the town where the system is purchased, which may well be different, enterprise zones, business zones, etc.

Seems you more concerned about a little tax difference than the quality of your system.
