Well shoot.

For X-mas my wife & Son bought me a R.A.T. 7. Last week it stopped working.

Disappointing, working with Madcatz, so far is useless. Took them 4 or 5 days to answer the first service ticket.

Which of course was all basic.

Right & left click works, but no mouse movement. Tried everything, uninstall, latest drivers, different usb, etc.

Looks like I get to fight for a repair or new one. Wonder how long that will take.
Remember valor, honor, independence, family & clan; I do whenever I hear the ceol mor, the "great music" of the Highland bagpipe. I swear upon the holy iron of my dirk that I will not forget.

I have no respect for madcatz. My experience with their products leads me to believe they use cheap parts and charge out the butt for them. Their memory cards always die in a couple of months, their controller D-pads and analog sticks are extremely clunky and easily broken, and their customer service is nonexistent. I haven't bought anything madcatz in years though because of all that, so perhaps they got better..

wow thats wild i was totally interested in buying the rat 9. I love the design and ability to fully customize the mouse to fit the size of your hand. The specs were not bad either and the sniper button was pretty cool. I was more interested in the cyborg edition as well as a few of there keyboards however they are pricey as hell and the keyboards were not even win 8 compatible.
