I purchased the following desktop PC - CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Master GMA1394A
Link here:

It looks as if the case has a space for some kind of mesh or something like that at the top so dust doesn't accumulate on the internals. Am I wrong? If not, where do I find a pat like that?

Your seeing an optional place for a fan or sealed 120mm liquid cooler.

Cases that have built in dust filters will come with them.

Better question since you didn't ask the membership before you bought this is, open the case and and see what PSU you have. The membership will never suggest an off the shelf build from CP or a third party. You don't really know what your getting.

If you have a standard PSU, they are junk, provide uneven power (ripples) hard on everything long term and have fried systems. If it is a name brand you should be good. If it is the standard get it out of your case.

You may also have generic RAM. Not real bad, but at least download and run "Memtest" to see f you have any errors. If so RMA the RAM, even one or two bad sectors can cause all sorts of weird issues.

You can get a piece of filter material and place it over top if you want. Here is a link to magnetic dust covers. >>>>" rel="nofollow -

I purchased this from Amazon and it doesn't seem to be a custom build or anything like that.

Good idea about the fan, I will probably by one to cool the PC even more or even buy the filter you suggested.

Thank you so much for your help!

What case fans and CPU cooling system does your system currently have?

Is air being drawn in through the opening at the top?
