I'm currently having issues with a 6 month old MSI GTX 970. My issue is when I try to play any game my FPS is stable right when I turn on the PC but becomes a problem 10 or more minutes into any game. FPS drops to unplayable usually between 5-20 fps I'm usually at 80+.
I have uninstalled drivers and clean installed them back. I am in need of some serious help with this. Edited by Zager - 25 Oct 2015 at 7:46pm |

Download MSI Afterburner or any hardware monitor program like HWINFO to monitor your temperatures.

yes you need to monitor your temps. It sounds as if throttling due to heat may be occurring.

I downloaded MSI Afterburner and monitored my temps. I found that my CPU temp is pretty high and my GPU keeps fluctuating. What can I do to fix this issue from here.

Post your full build specs
You can adjust fans in your bios.

Might have to take our the CPU cooler, re-apply thermal paste after cleaning the old one off. Then give it a shot.
If you don't know how to replace thermal paste just google it.

Don't see what fans or case you have.
Open the side case and let a floor fan blow into the case. If the temps come down it is a cooling issue, more or larger case fans.
