So i bought a Cyberpower PC on amazon, this one
https://www.amazon.com/CYBERPOWERPC-GXiVR8020A3-Desktop-Graphics-802-11AC/dp/B071NG75BW/ref=bdl_pop_ttl_B071NG75BW I am running VRmark and 3DMark on it, and.. the result do not match up to what i was expecting, as in close to half. http://www.3dmark.com/vrpor/145323 http://www.3dmark.com/spy/2336793 For example, the 3d mark score shows 27 similar systems at scores in the 4200 range, and mine is 2635. Is there something i don't have turned on? is there some setting i don't have checked? I have updated my graphic's cards drivers to the latest I've checked device manager, the only display driver is the RX 580 Thanks in advance. |

What are your full build specs?
Make sure since you bought this from a third party seller you don't have a "standard" PSU, biggest mistake we see people make. These are known for high failure rates. Hopefully you have Name Brand RAM. A lot of these also have basic RAM not really the best for gaming. Try a clean install of the most recent GPU drivers. Really an RX 580 is a modest GPU at best. Can't compare the an Nvidia 1070. >>> http://https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html |

Agreed, that's logical as the 1070s go for around $450, and the 580s can be found sub $300... I'm not a fan of that "benchmarking site" as it's all down to one tool. Toms Hardware's GPU Hierarchy is a lot more helpful, as it gives better understanding to the relative performance of similar cards: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html |
