Forgot to also add I ran a Heaven Benchmark and got a score of 5014, max fps 385.6 on 1920x108p fullscreen. Every test was ran fine with no problems. PC still doing great, and able to run smoothly while streaming and gaming.

Have I mentioned that I don't like you? Haha, those scores are insane. What were the other settings? I ran it and only got 2947, max fps 239.0 at 2560x1080. My settings were:

API: DX11
Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: Extreme
AA: x8

All stress tests/benchmarks I have run have run well with zero errors as well...but my CPU does seem to be weaker than average based on most tests I'm seeing. Kind of hard to know why or if something just isn't optimized properly.

Well since this is your first post, hopefully you didn't make the classic mistakes.

First, NEVER the standard PSU. These are junk, will provide uneven power (ripples) hard long term on all components. They have been known to fry systems. When you get it open the case up and verify what you have. If Corsair, XFX, Coolmaste, EVGA or Thermaltake you should be fine.

Did you use checkout code spring0410 or NORUSH for 5% off the total?

Below is a list I put together with the help of others over the years. It is for your first boot. For sure run Memtest. You want to know if you have any errors before your 30 day RMA runs out.

Take plenty of pictures before during & after the unboxing in case there is damage.

Remove all packing, verify all components are seated & plugged in.

Connect monitor, keyboard, mouse and internet only.

Fire it up, finish OS install, GPU drivers & MOBO drivers. Register the OS.

Download Speed Fan or HWI monitor and run during all tests to monitor temps.
All the programs listed are free, make sure you download directly from their site
or at someplace like Major Geeks.

Download and create a bootable flash drive or CD of Memtest. Run it to verify your RAM has no errors.
A bad sector or 2 can cause all sorts of weird issues. If it passes move on. If not find the bad stick
and temporarily remove it.

Download and run Intel Burn In on standard, for a general stress test.

Download and run Furmark to stress the GPU.

If all is well update the OS and drivers.

Install your most used programs.

Now I suggest "cloning" your HD and re-clone every few months or so. Then just disconnect the clone drive.
I have found out the hard way what you need to go through if a C drive fails and the multiple days
it takes to get set up again. If something does happen in minutes your back up and running
with a minimal amount of data to get back.

If you decide not to clone, at least make a set of recovery disks or back up your drive.

Finish installing printers, etc.

Your ready to go.
Remember valor, honor, independence, family & clan; I do whenever I hear the ceol mor, the "great music" of the Highland bagpipe. I swear upon the holy iron of my dirk that I will not forget.

Quick question, I recently got a new monitor, tried to use it before i have to go into work today, but I powered my PC on just to see a black screen and nothing on the display. I thought maybe it was the monitor and I'd try and fix it later, but I plugged my old display back in, and it's no longer showing anything either. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I've powered the computer off multiple times, unplugged everything that was unnecessary (kb+m, etc) and tried using my old monitor that I used for the past month, and the new monitor, both with my HDMI cord, and a few times with the DVI that came with the new monitor, but my PC hasn't shown anything on either since I tried to use the new monitor..
