I strongly recommend that you all get a laptop cooling pad. Even if it does not run hot, for then you could do some overclocking.

It will drop the idle temperatures and even sway full clock speed temperatures!

It worked for me... as I did not feel like giving over my laptop to tech support.

Laptop GPUs and components can handle heat (My GPU should be able to run at 100C)... but the colder they the better it is for making the hardware last.

Cooled the CPU and GPU when idle by like 10C.
On full clock speeds, the laptop cooling pad dropped my GPU temperature by 5C.

Also, keyboard is not warm to touch and it better.

And I got the cheap one which runs from the USB port. More expensive ones might do a better job.

My Test,
Original 76C idle, With Cooling Pad 60C Idle. 89C Full Clock Speeds, 84C with cooling pad at full clock speeds. It is all about airflow really, seems cyberpower laptops don't do a good job of it. With a paper, tape and another 12V fan: 48-52C Idle, 79C at full clock speeds.

Hopefully this help someone :)

Why do people game with laptops... Is there any room for upgrades?

Portability. Some laptops are quite upgradable, they are rare though.

Most of the time you can easily upgrade the ram and the hard drive. The GPU is integrated.
