Hi Everyone, I'll be getting my new Cyberpower rig Monday the 28th.  I'll post a photo tour from unopened box to opened case to work area.

My last PC was from Alienware and it's been a great PC, but I never felt it was a great deal - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that CP provides the best of both worlds.

Here are the specs:

CASE:

CoolerMaster Cosmos S Full Tower

CPU:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz 1333FSB 12MB L2 Cache 64-bit

MOTHERBOARD:
Asus P5Q PRO P45 DDR2 Crossfire

MEMORY:

4GB (4x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel

VIDEO:

ATI Radeon HD 4870 PCI-E 16X 512MB DDR5

SOUND:
Creative Labs X-FI XtremeGamer 24-BIT PCI

System Hard Drive:

Western Digital VelociRaptor 300 GB 10,000 RPM

Data Hard Drive:
750 GB SATA-II 7200 RPM

DVD (x2):

Sony 20X Double Layer Dual Format DVD+-R/+-RW + CD-R/RW

POWERSUPPLY:
Thermaltake Toughpower 700W

OS:

Microsoft(R) Windows Vista™ Home Premium w/ Service Pack 1 (32-bit Edition)

(eventually I'll get Vista 64-bit, but I just don't trust it yet)

Can't wait to try Crysis - it absolutely punishes my GF 7800 GS (AGP) so this will be a huge step up!

OK, well I got my PC today.  So far, so good.  I'm very happy with it.  The box showed up in great shape with just one minor indentation.

As you will see in the following photos it was packaged very well. Nothing was missing and there were no loose parts.

I now have it up an running and no issues as of yet.  I have not tried any games yet...too busy installing apps first.

I will probably post a couple more photos of it actually running (soon).

(big sigh of relief).....

It's not small,,, that case is huge. Great pics, but doesn't really show how big that thing is... Good luck with the new PC!!!

Thanks Guys!  Yeah, looking back I think this case is a little overkill.  It really is huge. You're right, the photos doesn't do the size justice.

I couldn't get over the size of the V1 cpu cooler - now that's a monster.  Everything is running cool though.

Vista is running nice on this machine....compared to when I tried to run it on my Athlon 64 3500...that was a nightmare (reverted it back to XP)
