Hey I wish I knew more about computers to give you better information about my problem. I have been getting the blue screen about once every two days. The blue screen doesn't tell me that specifically what the problem is. When I restart my computer it just sits on a black screen. Other times it tells me to insert my windows xp disc(which I don't have one me). Sometimes my computer will start up normally.

Sounds like either a corrupted file for Windows, possible hard drive issues, or power-related based on the fact that it happens on startup. It could be a bad Master Boot Record. Can you go into Safe Mode and at least run ChkDisk?
