I heard this can ruin desktops and Iím just making sure I donít have one with my pre built

It looks like a regular power supply and you DEFINITELY do not want one. Lower quality components might fry your rig.

I'm betting the farm that you do. I bought a pre-built Acer once. First thing I did was take out the power supply and put in a Silverstone I had on hand.

Look at it and see what the manufacturer and model is.

I would but I am having trouble opening the back panel. i take of two screws keeping it in place and it won't open. I know I don't pull hard because I actually warped the panel a little bit. Do I call support for this? I have a c series case

Actually I think Iím alright. The way the power and switch is placed as well as the wires I seem to have a different psu. Anyways I can always remove it if my pc turns off for no reason.
