Wow this is a powerful machine! SteamOS is very polished when you're using it the way the manufacturer intended (which is an admittedly small selection of games). It gives you full access to a real Debian distro which is a lot of power but it is VERY confusing. I can only recommend SteamOS to people who will use it exactly the way Valve intended or for people who are very knowledgeable in Linux. The Steam Controller is a dream and greatly exceeded my expectations!

The system is amazing and the build quality and assembly looks professional. There's just one minor issue, the front USB ports came DOA. I don't know was wrong but it may be a loose cable.

System arrived without the external WiFi antenna attached. It was at least included in a bag. But there was no WiFi terminal to screw on the antenna on the faceplate in the back. There were no instructions on how to open the case so I had to Google to find how to open the case. Once inside, the internal antenna cable was simply dangling around not attached to anything. Once I poked the WiFi terminal through the faceplate and connected the external antenna, it worked fine. The hardware works great, but the system did not ship ready to use.

The mic and headphone ports had rubber blocking them
